Trina Vertex S All Black Front | 415W (25 year product warranty)
An all black front module that keeps the Vertex S output and adds a uniform appearance.
- Thinner wires that appear all black at a distance.
- Multi-busbar technology, enhancing light trapping, reducing resistance, and boosting current collection.
- Reduced risk of micro-cracks, thanks to innovative non-destructive cutting technology.
- Seamlessly integrates with predominant optimizers, inverters, and mounting systems.

What the figures mean
- Peak power watts, 415 Wp
- The power the module makes under standard test conditions: 1000 W/m2 of irradiance, a cell temperature of 25°C and air mass 1.5. Trina states a measuring tolerance of ±3% and a binning tolerance of 0 to +5 W, so a panel is sorted into its class and never sold under it.
- Module efficiency, 20.8%
- The share of the light landing on the module that leaves it as electricity. It is what decides how much power a fixed roof area can carry, which is why it matters more than the watt figure on a small roof.
- Temperature coefficient of PMAX, -0.34%/°C
- Output falls by 0.34 per cent for every degree the cell rises above 25°C. On a hot roof the cell runs well above air temperature, so this figure decides summer afternoon yield.
- NOCT figures
- A second set of numbers measured at nominal operating cell temperature rather than the 25°C of STC. They are closer to what a roof actually sees, which is why the NOCT power, 312 Wp, is lower than the 415 Wp headline.
Who it is for
It suits a roof where the panels are visible from the street and the look matters as much as the yield.
Output depends on how the array is designed around your roof, its pitch and direction, and the shading across the day. Our CEC accredited installers assess the roof rather than estimate from an address.
